Aquarea Air Radiators

are a hybrid solution to providing heating or cooling using hot or chilled water. They are a fan coil that uses a fan to distribute the air throughout the room but they also feature a radiant section to give radiant heat as well.

They are very efficient and will work with hot water as low as 35C in order to get the best performance and efficiency from an air to water heat pump.

They come complete with a touch screen controller and three way control valve and are available with or without the radiant heating section.

Replacing your existing radiators with Aquarea Air will allow you to reduce the flow temperature of your heat pump and enable you to qualify for the RHI

We do not show a water return temperature here because the temperature difference will not be the normal 5C that we would use for a heat pump system when the fan is off. Please also note that pressure drops increase significantly in fan off mode.

Please be aware that the L models without the radiant section may be on a longer delivery period than the standard models which are normal UK stock items.

We recommend that the standard models are used for domestic applications where heating is the priority and particularly in bedrooms where low noise is important. The L models without the radiant section are more suitable for offices and applications where cooling is the priority.

Both models are suitable for use in cooling only, heating only or cooling and heating applications equally without modification. The control system is able to sense the water temperature and so decide whether it is able to provide cooling or heating.
